Meteorologist Visit

 We had a great visit and presentation from Local 4 Meteorologist Brandon Roux.  We learned all about weather.  Mr. Roux showed us how hail, storms, and tornadoes are formed.  We had so much fun listening to his presentation.

Finding Powerful Patterns

We worked together to find our powerful patterns in our sight words books.  We then used those patterns to make new words.

Peer Editing

We worked together to help peer edit our books.  Partners gave ideas on details that can be added to their partner's writing.

Playing Salute

In the game salute, two players get a number card and hold it on their head.  The dealer tells the two players the sum of the two numbers.  Then each player needs to figure out which number is on their head by looking at the other players number.
